The licence
ROSS uses the AGPL-3.0 licence. If you offer a changed version over a network, the licence generally requires you to make the corresponding source available and keep the required notices.

Open source and self-hosting
ROSS is based on the open-source Mike project. You can inspect the code, change it, and run it yourself under the licence terms.
Status
The repository includes setup and operating guides. If you run ROSS yourself, you are responsible for that installation.

You choose and manage sign-in, storage, AI providers, email, monitoring, backups, retention, and security response.

Upstream credit
ROSS keeps useful features from Mike and credits that project. The Mike team does not sponsor or endorse ROSS.
